While at CNN, I produced content under the Global Projects features team. I liaised with colleagues in London and overseas bureaus to organise, develop, and create engaging story ideas, creating original content, many illustrated with my own photographs. I supported colleagues on location for television shoots and in the office with research. Utilising web tags and graphics to visualise story narratives, I worked with web, video and multimedia teams to deliver by-lined high quality articles on CNN’s digital platforms under CNN Style, CNN Travel, and CNN Vision. You can see my work from CNN here.

While at National Geographic UK, I worked on print and digital projects to deliver content for the flagship magazine Traveller, Traveller Food and Collections publications. I researched, wrote and edited destination-specific content for a global audience, and worked closely colleagues in London and overseas gathering information, setting goals, working on strategies to meet expectations. Along with that I implemented social media strategies increasing engagement on Instagram by 10%.

During my time at The Telegraph as a weekly intern, I wrote multiple digital stories about international news on the Foreign Desk ranging from lighthearted to serious subjects. I researched long-form pieces and aided other journalists in gathering information, interviews, and contacts in different regions around the globe. I also reviewed social media trends for input into developing stories and used social media to find stories and new leads. You can see my work from The Telegraph here.

Created to inspire local change, Neat Nashville was a storytelling blog that highlighted the incredible people of Nashville, Tennessee. Every week, a different person was invited to share their story through a feature article I produced.

Neat Nashville focused on people and where they were right now in their lives and their journey. From doctors to baristas to students to artist and politicians, the purpose of this space was to show all the different type of people who make this city what it is: a progressive community for people to come and live, to create and work and enjoy the company of others.
